T4 GENE 32 PROTEIN

PRODUCTS

gp32 Highlights

T4 Gene 32 (gp32) is a single-stranded DNA binding protein (SSBP) that is involved in T4 bacteriophage replication and repair. gp32 binds and stabilizes single-stranded DNA and is utilized as an additive in molecular biology assays to increase DNA yield.

  • Increase efficiency and primer specificity during PCR and isothermal amplification
  • Enhance yield during RT-PCR
  • Custom formats, including high concentration, support lyophilization applications
  • Reduce material costs with a drop-in solution that delivers equivalent performance at a differentiated price point
  • Highly stringent enzyme manufacturing ensures quality performance across lots

Applications

  • RT-PCR
  • Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA)
  • Whole genome amplification (WGA)
  • Helicase-dependent amplification
  • Isothermal amplification
  • Restriction enzyme digestion
  • Electron microscopy
